Although
not a part of a Certified Payroll
Report there is an additional
record which must be maintained
pursuant to Labor Code §1812
which states:
Every
contractor and subcontractor
shall keep an accurate record
showing the name of and actual
hours worked each calendar
day and each calendar week
by each worker employed by
him or her in connection
with the public work. The
record shall be kept open
at all reasonable hours to
the inspection of the awarding
body and to the Division
of Labor Standards Enforcement.
This
record, when deemed necessary,
should be compared to the payroll
reports in order to verify
that all hours are consistent
which are reported on each
of the separate records.
